Rosasharn SS Aspen

DOB: 4/16/2004

Aspen has high, tight withers, strong topline with a nice uphill stance like his daddy. He is long and wide, well balanced, has strong, correct feet and legs, loose soft dairy skin, open ribbing. We are not surprised.  The genetics behind him are very impressive. His paternal granddam, Eclipse, has held up so well over time, she just won AGS National Grand Champion Senior Doe at the age of 10! Look at her milk record, too. We look forward to Flower (Aspen's first daughter) freshening in Spring of 06. He gave her a very nice leg set, higher in the escutcheon and wider in the rear than her dam, graceful style and beautiful topline.  If she has an udder like Sass' or Eclipse we will be more than pleased.

Sassafras came home this summer as 2005 ADGA Bridges Grand Champion Senior, best of breed and best doe in show. Sass is one of my favorite Rosasharn does. Her conformation, style and grace, her udder and capacity are exceptional. Thank you, Anne, for selling Aspen to us!

DOB: 04/09/2007

Saguaro  is a beautiful young buck with good length & width of body, a high arching escutcheon, high withers, deep in the chest and just all around correct. Sleek on the move. We just had to keep him! An incredible blend of genetics!

Rosasharn CH Uni's Legacy *S

DOB: 04/04/2005

Legacy is destined to bring us lots of milk. Look at his dam and paternal granddam - the two highest producers on record!  He is very refined, long, level, correct  and  very dairy. Thank you, Anne, for this beautiful buck!

Uni's dam freshened for the 6th time at age 6 with 6.2 lb.s on first DHIA test, going on to breed leader for milk production, BF and protein in 1998 & 1999. Anne had high expectations for Uni to surpass her dam since her paternal grandam also has a capacious udder. She was NOT disappointed!

Anne says about Legacy's granddam Buckwheat Honey: "When people see her, they say, 'that's dairy!' and they mean it. Her skin is soft, pliable, and elastic. Her ribs are open, flat and well sprung. Honey has the highest widest rear udder we have ever seen on a Nigerian."
