Doe-Sy-Doe FS L'ily's Starlight

Starlight is very dairy, long, level, looks to have long teats, has very strong feet and legs, and like her half sister Bit-a-Joy and all of Firestorm's kids, she is also very wide and correct in the rear. We are very happy to have Starlight here and her wonderful genetics from such consistent lines. She has a predominance of gold and white and red and white in her genes,too, so could throw very colorful kids. Starlight's dam, L'ily, has a beautiful, high, tight, very capacious udder with wonderful texture, easy to milk teats. And she was only a first freshener, when I saw her this summer (05). She is an all around beautiful doe! Typical of what L'ily's sire, Tiger L produces. And look at Starlight's granddams, too! Thank you, Heather! Starlight's 2007 first freshening udder was all that her dam's is - and she only kidded with a single doeling. (See Stellar) This March (2008) she kidded with triplets (1 buck, 2 does). (See Twinkle and Twilight in the Photo Album.) Her udder is one of the very best in our herd. She really milks, and milks down fully, has wonderful attachments & texture. Buck is sold. |

Feliz was named for her personality and for how she makes us feel. (Happy!) She is very sweet and loveable.
Feliz is long, wide, refined and dairy. Feliz' udder is extremely capacious and easy to milk; good fore, nice medial. Not the best picture as the kids had nursed her unevenly the night before so she was fuller in her left side. She has been throwing beautiful kids. We have retained her very sleek & dairy doeling, Fawn, from '07 sired by Sundance.
Feliz kidded on March 9, 2008 with a beautiful, correct, single buckling sired by Saguaro (sold). I think I will repeat this breeding. |

Fawn is a beautiful & sleek buckskin doeling. The most dairy of the 2007 kid crop with very open ribbing. She also has nice long teats. She will be bred this spring to Aspen or Saguaro- hopefully to kid in Sept. 2008.
